I agree with Paul. Not enough RAM or HD space. The HD you could upgrade (maybe), but the RAM even if doubled isn't enough. YOu are going to want at least 1 gb.

I got a replacement Garmin 76CSx and am working on unlocking it with my old maps, when I came across a Garmin set of 24K maps for all of Oregon and Washington. Seems California and Nevada will be available soon.  As I plan on going on a hike today or tomorrow or the next day or.... it looks quite handy especially if the note about being able to route to wilderness campsites is true, complete with elevation plots which makes it harder to lie to Sabrina about it all being downhill.

I looked again at the example maps and it's kinda funny. For two of them they use Mount Rainier as an example, and yet, there were already 24K maps for Mt. Rainier in their National Parks West product.
