Talking to my Father in-law last night about the steens trip and having bought a freezer/fridge for it, he mentions "oh, I have one of those, you want it?".
WTH were you 2 months ago? Anyway, he has a Minus40 brand 40 Qt frige he gave me. He used it on his boat as a freezer and it worked great for him. He said it had very little current draw. It has the Danfoss compressor rather than the Sawafuji (sp). I have not had any time to research again but was curios if anyone had information on the brand/compressor. If I remember right,the Danfoss is second best to the sawafuji, but hey, free is a good price.
Anyway, my point in posting this is to see what folks know if the Danfoss motor and if it is worth keeping as a smaller trip fridge. |
