Any pictures of the one you're selling? Does it have a rain fly, or is the tent fabric itself waterproof? Also, does it come with the ladder? Thanks! |

Hey Ryan, Check out Racktents.com for specs on the Oasis. It comes with a funtional rainfly, small rip at the bottom mount (which doesn't affect performance) but the tent has been seam sealed so you would only need it in heavy rain, multiple days, or heavy sun (it has a aluminized surface to keep the tent cooler in sun). Ladder and mounting gear included.
I have someone already interested but not committed yet. let me know if you want it and I can check to see if they are truly serious. |

| Ryan, I have one with around 50-60 nights in it now and love it. Some pics in my gallery. Weighs 1/3 of what some rt tents weigh, 2 minute setup, storage underneath when closed, very comfy, can be installed or removed alone in 10 minutes. It's also the best tent ever for star gazing as you drift off to sleep!! Seriously. Worth looking into. Got unexpected rain and light snow without the fly a few times and all was dry in the am, although the fly is best if it's going to get real cold and or pour. If anything, it could be a little more breathable vs waterproof, but a cracked flap vents it well. |

Sorry Todd, that question about coming to Tacoma was directed to the guy in Seattle who posted about his Oasis II tent. I don't expect you to drive all the way up here to show me your tent  I'm still trying to unload some stuff on Craigslist. As soon as I do, I'll shoot you a PM and hopefully work something out. How far from Portland are you? |

Sorry Ryan. That's me then.... I don't plan to be in Tacoma anytime soon, unfortunately. Possibly on the way home from the Steens trip, but even that's not certain. My route to Bend is going SEA to YAK to BEND, and then reversed on the way home unless I'm limping and need to be nearer to services, then I'll come up I-5. That would be the 22nd or so.
In the meantime if you get up to Seattle I'd be happy to meet and let you play with the tent. |
