What do you know about the WIRES system? I have not found much on it.

I really have not had a chance to look at it.  But it seems like Yeasu's version of ARPS... if that makes any sense.

Ben,

I just read that link and it isn't related to APRS. WIRES is about using VOIP to link repeaters across the country. VOIP is what companies like Vonage and Skype use to allow two people to have a voice conversation over an Internet Connection.
