Not much here... too much turkey left me napping on the couch.  :-)  So, here is my embarrassingly mundane list.

Truck:
- Replaced burnded out fog light bulb, and finally fixed a bum connection it had (yawn), did some more winterization stuff.
- Started playing with OziExplorer and OziAPRS (netAPRS now) for vehicle tracking stuff.  Looks like a good combo for laptop users.  Got it running with USGS quads for the entire state of WA.
** Made significant progress on my own mapping program.
- For the first time in my entire life, I decorated my truck for Christmas.  I'm not at all sure if it is going to last beyond tomorrows snowrun.  lol.

Home:
Took a crowbar to my garage.  I can now park 3/4 of the truck in the carport before the roofrack rubs and can fit if I air down.
Put up the Christmas lights
Put up the tree
Put away the Thanksgiving stuff
blah blah blah...

- Cursed at fuel tank that refuses to drop down. two bolts in the back are holding it up. problem to leave for friday
- Cut off passenger side engine mount.

I may try to put the torque converter on the new transmission and MAYBE try mating that up with the engine. But there are a ton of other things to get done as well.

Oh yeah, we killed a tree too. Kim justified it as "thinning". I split some wood too. I had fun with axes and saws.

Oh, I almost forgot. In my on-going love affair with my ABS system I spent 10 minutes and swapped the brake switch in the hopes that it might fix my intermittent 3-amigos problem. As expected, I found out today that it didn't help. Love that D2 ABS/TC/ETC setup.

craig-

are your abs sensors intact? i mean, is the cover intact on them? i was having intermittant faults due to the wires fraying. you've had more issues with the abs on your d2 than anyone else i know. if it makes you feel any better, mine are here too. at least you can get them reset gratis; i have to go to the local dealership and have them cleared for $65 a pop. argh...

Well, my history hasn't been that bad... I just complain the loudest.

So far I've replaced:
Front right hub
Front left wheel speed sensor
Shuttle Valve replacement
Brake Switch

And now, reading your comment I'm thinking I'm a complete dork. why? Well, because when I put the ABS extensions on the left rear sensor had trouble making a good connection. We put some dialectic grease in there and it worked fairly reliably. I somehow forgot about that sensor... Maybe I'll re-grease it tomorrow.

In defense of my stupidity, the codes did indicate a shuttle valve failure, and the brake switch did appear to be sticking. I have a feeling I might have several items going bad at once.

the multiple failure is very likely. have you taken a multimeter to the sensors to check their integrity?
